The new two-story elementary school was built immediately adjacent to the existing facility in operation. Cornerstone performed significant dewatering to lower the groundwater table of the site, allowing for excavation and construction of a 9,000 square-foot mechanical basement. To protect Juanita Creek, located less than one hundred feet from the construction work area, Cornerstone prepared and implemented an extensive erosion and sediment control plan.
