Arlington Operations Center

Snohomish County selected Dykeman Architects and Cornestone to redevelop a 17.5‑acre site within the City of Arlington. The project provides an operations center for the Snohomish County Road Maintenance District 1 and Snohomish County Fleet. The redevelopment built a new administration/crew building and underground stormwater facility, improved site security, and improved site utilities. This was the first time the County used a Progressive Design‑Build delivery method. Cornerstone self-performed the mass timber installation which included CLT panels that serve as the floor and roof decking supported by a post-and-beam framework of glulam beams.
